To manage traveller site health

  • manage the health of registered common residential traveller site

To provide support

  • a Gypsy and Traveller Liaison Officer is available to represent the council and to support the community on site Monday to Friday

Unauthorised encampments

  • dealing with unauthorised encampments in the district
  • working with the police to move unauthorised travellers on

Before you start, you will need to tell us:

  • the exact location of the travellers
  • how many travellers there are (as close to exact as possible)
  • the date the travellers arrived at that location (if known)
