If you have any questions or want to proceed, you can call us, but please read the below information first:
Driveway first:
Your driveway should be completed before you apply for a dropped kerb. We recommend building the driveway before the path.
Pebble driveways:
If your driveway uses pebbles, you must install a 2-metre hard-standing area in a different material. This prevents pebbles from being dragged onto the footway.
Drainage:
If your driveway slopes towards the pavement, you must install drainage. It is illegal for rainwater to drain from your driveway onto the public path. Drainage must meet our standards.

Obstructions:
If there is a tree, manhole, or streetlight blocking your entrance, it may cost a lot to move them.
In some cases, your application may be refused.
Highways will not pay for removal or relocation of street furniture. You must cover these costs.
