We will look into why it wasn’t collected and get back to you as soon as we can.
Before you start, have a look at the reasons why your bin may not have been collected:
- your bin was not out prior to 7am on the day of collection
- your bin was not at the kerbside or collection point (assisted collections not included)
- you have put items in the wrong bin (if you have put items in the wrong bin, we will tag it to let you know and you will need to remove the items before we will collect it)
- If your bin is damaged, and we cannot collect it because of health and safety reasons (you can report a damaged bin on my account to get an exchange)
- access issues – roadworks, construction being undertaken, road closure, etc.
- extreme weather conditions
- instructions via emergency services, police, fire, ambulance service
- not being able to access premises or a communal area i.e. gate locked, obstruction, or health and safety reasons
Before you start, you will need to tell us:
- which bin has been missed
- the date and time you put out your bin
- if your bin has been missed before
