Request a clinical or medical waste collection

You can use this form to arrange the safe collection of clinical or medical waste.

Medical waste bags can be used to dispose of:

• soiled bandages
• dressings
• incontinence pads

Before you start, things you need to know:

• your doctor needs to complete a referral form for us to be able to collect
  (please allow 2 working days for your referral to be processed before booking a collection)
• if you have not arranged the first collection through your GP, we will not be able to process your request
• your medical waste bag must be tied securely
• your medical waste bag must not weigh more than 11 kilograms

Before you start, you will need to tell us:

• how many bags that should be collected and delivered
• where you will leave the bag

On the day of collection or exchange, the bags must be tied and placed at the collection point before 7am.
