Please note:

Someone who has not cleaned up after their dog can be given a £50 on-the-spot fine. If they refuse to pay the fine, they can be prosecuted and may face a court appearance with a maximum penalty of £1,000.

Registered blind dog owners are exempt from such penalties.


Before you start, you will need to tell us:

  • Where the dog fouling is
  • Name and address of the offender (if known)
  • A description of dog
  • A description of the dog owner
